This is one of the nicest and well cared for Africa Twins around, if you're looking to do some long distance touring, with some fire roads thrown in, this bike is ideal and priced right.

That is a very nice looking bike ..... Also an excellent price, so can clearly understand why the first person bought it. I am sure the new owner is a very happy man!! :-)

Yes Robert; a great bike at a fair price and a happy customer and seller.
I made a new friend too.

I'll encourage new owner to sign up to RideAsia so we can follow the AT as it travels.

What bike tickles your fancy as a replacement now Ron?

Hi Captain,
I'm looking closely at the CRF250L, but I'm yet to be convinced.
The reliable KLX is of interest.
But I do confess to having an inexplicable interest in the Royal Enfield 500 Classic too!
No hurry to buy.

Ron

What is the price of the Royal Enfield 500 Classic in Thailand?

Don't know Phil, but I believe the 350 is around 143,000 baht.

That seems like a bargain? I would have thought that may create a Thai cult following at that price.

That seat, was that a modification of the original one?

Yes Tom, and the mod transformed the bike for long distance comfort.

Here's the place;

Seat Magician upholsterer.
145/5 Chiang Mai - Lamphun Road
Tel: 086 262 6338.
GPS WAYPOINT: N18 46.957 E99 00.350

Khun Narong at work. He speaks reasonably good English too.
He gave me a day to try the modification before adding the cover.
I did ask him to round out the edges a bit more. Done.
Customers can chose from his collection of cover colours and materials or they bring their own.
