Vieng Phouka: very nice place

expensive than in the village, but very good.
Dinner 60 to 80.000 KIB / 2 persons
Breakfast: baguette w. scrambled or any other kind of eggs, butter & jam plenty of tea and instant coffee 50.000 KIB / 2 persons.
This is a very nice place to stop after boarder crossing and to get a feeling for Laos.
You can do 1 to several days trekking tours from here. Hardly any tourists. We have been 4 to 5 per day in this village at the most.
Oudomxay:
there are not many places where you can park your bike inside or within a fenced area, so we mention this one.
We actually parked our 2 big bikes in the lobby.

Hot shower, TV, Aircon, etc – it´s worth checking a few rooms, especially if the hot water is working. Very big rooms.
You would not expect electronic keys there, but they have.
Breakfast is not included in the price and not a good deal: 20.000 for 4 small toasts / w. egg & coffee / 1 person
Luang Prabang:

For every guest: WiFi, great meals for good money.
Big compound for 20 bikes,…
2 separate houses plus a few bungalows. Sounds very big, but it is a nice, comfortable place to stay.
We parked our bikes in front of the room.
All of these guesthouses have free bottled drinking water, soap, towels, toilet paper in the rooms.
