A treat from the street market
Moo hunglay and rice from a shop near the Wednesday street market 60 Baht
Riding alongside the river I link up with a track I have rode before
Another track takes me down the this smaller river
Heading eastwards back towards Mae La Noi and that looks like rain but I get home in the dry
The track ends at the shack
No more rumbles of thunder and another side track is explored
Back over the Yuam
The uprights were all charred from fire.
Suddenly I hear the rumble of thunder and quickly decide I need to get back to the paved surface
He tells me no way through
Beautiful and another one that looks like I could link up with the main track but it suddenly stops here
Now riding back until I take a left to see where this goes to
I was fed up with having wet feet virtually everyday even in March on the last trip so brought a pair of industrial steel toecap and steel shank in the soles wellingtons with me, they were very useful today
I ride back to the river crossing and ride along the river bed but there was simply no track going towards where I needed to get, annoying to get so close then have to turn back
I was heading towards it then 311 metres from link up it stops at the river bank
I was getting my hopes up that this would link up with a single track heading south that Christian and I found last year
A river crossing that I can ride through
I cross a few of these along here
Then ride across to explore the single tracks on the other side
I walk the bridge first
A fire is burning on the other side
It goes to the Yuam but there is a single track bridge going across it
I head north and very soon a track going off to my left hasn't been mapped
My track joins the paved track running alongside the Yuam river
35C sitting in the shade, no wonder I was sweating most of the day
No 7-11 sandwiches today, a healthier option was found
With a good view
A good lunch stop
Whilst rain was forecast here yesterday we didn't get any but Mae La Noi apparently did and it was a bit slippery in places today
A couple of km later at this shack I was told it goes through
This track ran out the back of the tip and I didn't expect it to go very far
No workers here today only a couple of dogs running around
As the first track had big lockable gates I thought it was only for the rubbish tip
North of Mae La Noi I noticed some tracks heading west of the 108 that were not on the map
