3G Data Providers in Laos

During my latest trip i used the Laos Telecom's (Laotel) data package, pretty easy to set-up although handy if the shop will do it for you if you want to use your phone as a hotspot link for your laptop.

Current price is 250K kip for 30 day's unlimited use, coverage is pretty good and reasonably fast.

Yes, I am using the same but I pay 50000 Kip (about 200 Baht) for the 30 Day packet with a max of 5000 Mb. More than enough for me as I normally spend some 10-15 days in Laos on a single trip and it works perfect as a private hot-spot for my laptop. Like Bob said. in most places this works good but it does not give you 100% coverage all over the country.
