The confluence of the Mae Sariang and Om Long rivers with not much water in either of them

Enough in the Mae Sariang river for irrigation though

Heading north along the 3010 I take a single track to my left which I hope will join up with one heading south out of Mae Um Long Noi that I started exploring a few years ago on the KLX 250

Initially I thought that would be difficult
IMG_0560.jpg
But upon closer inspection it was easy to get through
IMG_0561.jpg
A bit further and its only a hiking trail so I turn back
IMG_0562.jpg
I stop for lunch at the Mae Um Long junction in a shelter, it was here a few years ago when the Google Earth car came along and I am photod on there but they have blurred my face out

Hardly any running water in this stream, the track heads west explaining why I couldn't find its exit onto the 3010

I park here and walk a bit then ride the bike further
