Looking at yesterdays track on GE I noticed a large village in the middle of it, a road shows on the OSM leading to it so todays plan was to locate and explore it
More fun on this narrow twisty road in the opposite direction
I can see the village through the trees
There appears to be a Church here
Plua a tree full of pomelos
Here I make my big error by not exploring the village first and decide to follow this dirt track up into the hills for a better view.
GE gave me no idea I would cross over and link up so I was expecting to ride in and back out by the same road
Lovely views up here again
The track splits and this one terminates here
Turnaround point on another one
This track which I was expecting to finish anytime just kept on surprising me by continuing
From the peak I can see where I was riding yesterday, thats Ban Pha Bo Jun
No way does this track look like it goes through, there is hardly any sign of usage
I could see a few of these on GE last night and wondered what it was
I chatted with these and as I rode off I was expecting them to signal the road was a dead end but nothing from them
Even here I was expecting a dead end ahead
I am heading down towards Ban Pha Bo Jun now
It was a great find today and totally unexpected too
Shame about the burning taking place already
I am interested on what is happening here but no one speaks English that I see
Tunnelling for what? GE shows something happening here, its at N19.23622 E098.88019 if anyone wants to check it out
Exploring around and a paved road finishes and I am told this will take me out
He rides past so I am thinking this is the way out
Whatever is planted there has a scarecrow and two dummy birds to protect them
Raiding the beehives, the guy who rode past is here too and tells me this isnt the way out so I have to ride back a bit to find it
The herdsman tells me this is the way out
The road forks and I take the left which brings me to a water crossing and after that I reach the paved road
I explore where the car was being washed yesterday but a barrier is across the track and I could see there was nothing interesting there anyway
The herdsman had gestured to veer to the right so I guessed there must be two ways out so I rode back to where I turned left
This bridge was a bit wonky
Just past this animal and I link up with where I met the herdsman
Riding home I take the road that runs alongside the irrigation canal to the east of the 1001 for a long way, its a lovely scenic twisty road that was devoid of traffic unlike the 1001.
Tomorrow I now have to ride back to the village and explore it properly
