A cold cloudy windy morning here in Mae Sot but then finally the sun appears with its much diminished powers
The wind is making the reservoir look more like the sea
Not quite so breezy along here
A new road by the look of it
At times the wind is blowing lots of dust up making things a bit unpleasant, it would have been better if it had rained hard last night just to keep the dust down
These appear to be enjoying the cold weather about as much as I am
The girl wearing the headphones was a very happy person, cheerfully chatting in good English as she walked by
A few more shacks out along here
I go round in a loop and now to see where this new road being prepared goes to
I follow it southerly until I cant get any further and wonder where it will hit Hwy 12, I guess on the ring road near to Makro
The snake was sunning itself and surprisingly found enough warmth to move rather rapidly once I approached
A cold but enjoyable days riding with a late start and an early finish which was a good thing as it started raining virtually as I got to my room.
Annoyingly I left my warm hoodie and long trousers in Mae Sariang foolishly thinking that I wouldn't need them
I am invited to my friend Robinson's house for dinner tonight for some lovely Sri Lankan food which I used to enjoy at his former restaurant and then his takeaway which both sadly no longer exist
