First job this morning was to get a new front tyre, got 21500 km from this one
280 Baht for another one exactly the same
While I was waiting I was looking at some modifications on the bikes here
These wider tubeless tyres on this Wave would make it feel better, shame the diameter of the wheels is smaller though
Whilst the cut open bit looks good I cant imagine water in there helps braking efficiency much
Now out on the 4016 Mae Win road
At Ban Huai Pong I take a left and its this concrete road which is very steep in places
The paved surface finishes at a village
This unpaved track will take me to the 1009
If it stays like this it will be quite easy going
After about 1-2 km its a paved surface all the way now
A few paved turn offs were seen with signs pointing to villages, I think another days exploring is needed up here tomorrow
Crossing the river just as I am about to meet the 1009
I ride up towards Doi Inthanon then take a righ onto the 4016 to loop back to where I was a couple of hours ago
This is a funny little roadside waterfall and I am pointing the camera straight up vertical to take this photo
At 1700 metres its very cold up here today
