Distance 118 km

My first time along the 4029 in three days and there has been a roadside fire along a good length of it, despite that its a lot clearer up here today

At the corner is was nowhere near as clear as this three days ago, its been quite windy here for the past couple of days so hopefully that has helped to clear the smoke

Looking across at the Pha Daeng mine

The Chedi is much easier to see again now

The tracks are getting dustier though with all the heavy traffic using them

I am annoyed that the days I spent behind that was the smoky days ruining the good scenery shots, I plan on returning here in november so I will go out there again to reshoot them

Now to explore the two tracks at Ban Pang Wua that I didn't have time for three days ago

At the top of a hill and lovely views again

He came hurtling up the hill and I hardly had time to get the camera out before he went flying past

I time reaching here perfectly as the ice cream man pulls up

He soon gets some kids running up for an ice cream

I dont believe it, its the ice cream man from yesterday but today we pass about 10 km from where we met yesterday and on a different track

Its great how quickly the smoke has mainly blown away

A lovely old tree stump

According to the Garmin GPS map this track goes through and loops back to the paved road, sadly it didnt and finished here

Descending back down towards Mae Sot and its still looking smoky

Chicken Mughlai at Bismillah 250 Baht
