A lovely sunny day and I rode to Lamphun, plenty of open areas without traffic. The striking beauty of these red flowers really was nice, the river Ping has sub subsided a bit now that the rain has stopped. I recorded 23.8 km going to the bridge at Lamphun but it was a bit more coming back as the road was closed, luckily for me the sun was shining so I knew which way to take at junctions. I really could do with my GPS for this exploring, it took me an amazing extra 5.6 km on the ride home.
