A horrible knocking noise suddenly happened and checking the rear wheel soon found the problem as it could be rocked from side to side

As expected the Castrol Bike Point had them in stock and quickly changed them for 240 Baht the total job

We rode out to Ban Pang hoping to find a trail over the hills to Mae Ho but it didn't appear to exist despite being told in the village that it did

Next stop was along the 3010 where I have turned back at a river crossing before, the water is well low now and it was an easy cross which was good as the bridge appears to be beyond repair

Initially it looked like a single track on the other side but there was a double track through the river as well
