The 1200cc Triumph Tiger Explorer will be launched (in Thailand) at an event in the Impact Arena exhibition center on 12 May (2012) at 17:00 hours.

Wonderful bike BUT 460,000 baht is USA .... about 900,000 here in the Land-Of-Smiles!

Darn........my 800XC is only a few mths old........now this comes along.....

I am not a fan of the land barges.. Bikes like the GS 1200 and the kind of uber tourers dont normally tweak any of my desires..

But damn that ones a bit tasty.. Triumph somehow have such nice machines right through the lineup.. Daytona, speed / street, tiger, all of them just have a real appeal.

Well, it would have to be in that general neighbourhood to compete with the Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere at 890,000. I wonder if that will push the price on the 800 Tiger a bit, otherwise there's not much bewteen them, price-wise.
I hadn't heard about that Honda Crosstourer that was mentioned in one of those reviews. Looking it up I noted that the expected gas-mileage is under 13 km/l...ouch!

My KTM 990 Adv if ridden "fun" gets around 14km to 1 liter of 95 Gasohol.

Pushing the fireblade I dont think I even get that..

Plus that honda crossover thing is a auto too isnt it..

KTM dont make anything here I think.. Its just a sales operation..

If Triumph reclass themselves to change the BOI deal, to fight Ducatis domestic production, it will be interesting. Slow changes but changes none the less.

ha dont know what post thread or imaginary friend conversation I got KTM from.. The joys of posting with an iPad :)

That and huffing the glue bags probably..
