Chicken and chips 135 Baht

The only fire I see today

They have enough cabbages to keep them occupied for a while

Locked up but nothing inside

This has been abandoned now

It links me up to a track I mapped years ago

The 150 makes it but no way would I have tried that on the 250

A new track turns to single track at this bridge

A bit further towards Huay Pla Kang this is at the bottom of the steps leading up to the chedi

That's one large candle, I wonder how many watts it puts out

But these pulling the earth across on the sacks gestured for me to have a go, I pulled two lots, no one asked to see my work permit so hopefully I got away with it

They didn't invite me to help

At Huay Pla Kang and a new chedi is being built

I will be dreaming about brooms tonight as I cant get away from them now

At the far end of Mae Chang and more friendly people

If you need a broom go to Mae Chang, they have thousands of the things

I see a lot of Honda MSX 125s out on the tracks nowadays but have yet to see a modified one for dirt use, they wouldn't get far in the wet red shit with mudguards that close to the tyres

Heading back to Mae Chang

But a bit further downstream and they have some

I walk over the cabbage field to the Huay Mae Chang but cant see any water in it

The two industries out here appear to be growing cabbages and making brooms

Riding a track out of the village

In Mae Chang and the ice cream man arrives
