Today was my 60th birthday and its business as normal as far as I am concerned so its out exploring new tracks.
I started off at the Salawin NP

Higher up heading towards Tha Tha Fang and a clearing has been made at a good viewpoint where you can see Mae Sariang

A snapped off tree blocks the old road where the viewpoint is located so I had to turn around and ride back to the main track

In Ban Huaihom and these kids are playing

Single track goes on after the village

A snake in the track soon slides into the water but doesnt go away

Its pretty much non stop river crossings and riverbed riding along this track

A few of these wooden bridges were also crossed

Quite a few buffaloes roaming about

A nice little pathway has been cut out of the fallen tree

Back in to Ban Huaihom

These two were busy getting the papayas from the tree

Still muddy in places

Its handy having these signs with the village names on them in both languages

The KLX just squeezes under with the mirrors turned down

Lovely dry track now

A new restaurant for tonights food

This dessert was a gift from the owners who are lovely people

Lisa and I start off with pizzas

1 large pizza, 2 small ones, chicken wings, garlic bread, coffee and 2 fruit shakes came to 556 Baht, we were both stuffed and neither of us could manage an ice cream.
Good food at good prices too
