Still not delivered, new USA FAA rules:
Last week, the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
published new small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) operation rules for commercial aircrafts weighing less than 55 pounds. They will take effect August 2016. We want to assure you that
none of these new federal rules apply to Lily customers operating the Lily Camera for recreational use, or Lily Camera customers located outside of the U.S.
These new rules require all routine commercial small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operators in the U.S. to have a remote pilot certificate with an sUAS rating or be directly supervised by someone with such a certificate. The operator must also be at least 16 years of age.
TL;DR:
If you're planning to capture non-commercial content with your Lily Camera and you've registered with the FAA, you're good. We will do our very best to keep you in the loop on future FAA changes as guidelines evolve.
