Stayed two nights in Buengkan in "The One Hotel" (www.theonehotel-bk.com) which is located along highway 212 at the main junction which leads into the town of Buengkan itself.
Nice place with a swimming pool (busy in the weekends with locals), a very good WiFi and also a really nice Buffet Breakfast all included in the price of 790 Baht. Buengkan seems to be booming after it became Thailand's 77th province and there are a lot of new hotels springing up in and outside the town.
