Glad that the KLR is available in Thailand! Over the past 8 years I've had a WR250, a GSA1200, and a KLR to play on Western and Northern Canadian back roads. With new shock and springs, the KLR is my preferred back road ride, being trouble free for 70,000 kms. Scars from sliding down a large mountain in the Yukon that became rideable in the rain.

Cheers

I called into Kawasaki CNX today.
Two of the three KLRs have already gone to new owners.
One Adventure model remains there being prepared for showroom.
The Adventure is 299,000 baht.

For the KLR650 aficionado, the Happy Trails Products company is coming out with a series of their modifications, accessories and upgrades for the 2022 KLR650s, staying ahead of the curve with the KLR650 as they have for the past 20+ years (I used a Happy Trails improved 2001 KLR650 on my fourth motorcycle ride around the world, which is now resting in The National Motorcycle Museum):

The Happy Trails Adventure Team did the build-up on my 2009 KLR650, which was another magazine project to make the then newish/upgraded (in 2008) KLR650 ready for a serious/hard motorcycle ride around the world. It now has just ticked over 74,000 miles, seen in the attached photo here from September 10, 2021 on the current leg of The Great Around The World Motorcycle Adventure Rally, parked in front of a section of the newly constructed "wall" between Mexico and the United States of America. The only "mechanical" issue over the last 74,000 miles was a tired spring in the OEM Kawasaki fuel petcock at 65,000 miles, which caused a minor blurp when the gas tank was full.... the petcock was replaced with a $15.00 USD aftermarket petcock.

Here is, I think, a very good overview of the new KLR.
Aside from the bike, note Ian's property, contents of his garage and the scenery!
Wow.
