Thaton Chalet, Mae Ai

Anyone know if the Thaton Chalet hotel on the 1089 at Mae Ai is closed? Been trying to call 'em for the past two days, no answer. Or, if someone has stayed there recently, d'you have a new number for them? I've been calling 053 373 155/6/7.

Don't know if they are closed but their website http://www.thatonchalet.com/ is no longer up (domain name expired) so it looks like they are no longer in business.

Have stayed about 2 years ago in Suan Bua Riverside Resort 0-5337-3214 which is about 100 meters west of Thaton Chalet on the Thaton River. They have quite nice bungalows for rent.

^ Just realised that this resort is not in Thaton folks, it's Chiang Mai muang. I think the one Lone Rider was referring to will be this one:

which is Baan Suan Resort. Maybe you could confirm LR? Anyway, booked into the Baan Suan Resort now!

Yep, that is the one I was referring to. Nice place at the bend of the river and walking distance to the main road as well as a good restaurant a bit to the north.
