I am the owner of a Royal Enfield travelling from Nepal through Asia (Nepali plate on my name). I have enjoyed more than 7000 kms with it so far.
I am now in the final stage of my trip and the time is coming to sell my motorcycle.
I was wondering whether Malaysia would be a good place to sell it.
Maybe someone can help me with some questions:
- Can I bring the motorcycle into Malaysia without a Carnet de Passage?
- Will I have many trouble selling the motorcycle in Malaysia?
- Is Malaysia a good market for Royal Enfields? I bought mine second hand. It's a RE Classic 500 Maroon colour, with 17000kms on the clock. Do you know which is the approx. value of my motorcycle now in Malaysia? Which are the prices for new REs in Malaysia?
Any information you can provide would greatly appreciated.
