We're told there is a guesthouse in the same area called the Green Frog that has rooms for 100 Bht.

P Guesthouse also serves decent Thai and foreign food and is a great place to have a beer in the evenings overlooking the lake. I will definitely be staying there next time I'm in town.

Problem with eating there is that they get so busy, there's a long wait, but i've also heard the food is great there.

I guess it depends on the time of year. I was there the weekend before last and it was busy but not packed. Food and everything was pretty quick and tasty.

Lots of good accommodation options here but places often fill up at weekends. This GH looks new and is clean with a/c, tv, fridge, hot water, free wifi and covered parking. NOT ON THE RESERVOIR. Price: 600฿ a night.
