Recently rode to Laos from Chiang Mai for a new visa. The last part of the ride I did along highway 211 which follow the Mekong. I ridden this road a few times but still enjoy it. It is as the signs say scenic.
Here's a few photos from the ride.

Finally welcome to Laos.

Nice mate, so where exactly did you cross into Laos ?

Love the choice of the crematoriums for a good night sleep. I'm guessing nobody comes and bugs you during the night at that location. LOL

Yep one of my favourite places to camp. Some have fans, toilets and bathrooms. And yes no one bothers you after dark.

You sleep at crematoriums Paul and I often stop at them for my lunch spot, some shade and peace and quiet is what they offer
