A good mate is working for a well known race team and all started with this entry passes among other very special treats for the Red Bull MotoGP 2013 / Laguna Seca (July 2013).
Well, here we go once again... another great MotoGP race weekend.....

 
Orange corner in the race track paddock... race bikes for AMA support races and championship....















 
Who says all orange off-road bikes come out of Austria, eh?
A different orange dual-sport "Dakar Edition" bike at Cannery Row / Monterey....

At a very large H-D dealership, walk in and ride away outlaw style ~ fully geared and all dressed up....

















































































 
Just got invites for various 2014 Motogp races from a mate involved with the GP race action and remembered to finish this picture thread...

Cannery Row, a lot of bikes on display during the entire race weekend, busiest day is of course Saturday.
The whole Cannery Row area in Monterey is blocked and only bikes and pedestrians are allowed, awesome atmosphere and pubs and restaurants full with an interesting crowd.



































































 
Some AMA + MotoGP paddock and pit lane pics.
We met Ryan Sheckler while he prepped for the ride as pillion on the Ducati Motogp bike (special 2-seater) with Rany Mamola in the pit lane (Ryan Sheckler = famous skateboarder and our son's hero).
Our son was once quite successful to have conversations with Sheckler, Mamola, Rossi, Marquez, Bautista, Dovizioso, Hayden, Crutchlow (the exchanged comments between him and son were absolute classic as rumours were flying about #35 joining Ducati at the 2013 race weekend...).

At the 2009 MotoGP at Phillip Island Randy dropped the 2 seater Ducati and pillion at Honda corner in the mud off the side of the track after he ran off after braking too late.
Got the biggest cheer of the weekend 55

Yeah, seen pics and some footage about the Mamola incident out at PI.
PI always great, been a few times to races, missed the recent PI-WSBK round in February as business commitments and a few meetings took me North of Sydney to Brissie instead of Melbourne....
