Rain X

Has anyone tried Rain X for their helmet visor?

There's two types. One for glass, one for plastic. I'm told the glass type will have deleterious effects on plastic.

I do like rain X, I use the stuff for plastic on our helmets, as we often ride in the rain on the wet coast of Canada, rained this morning actually well out in the hills together. I like how the mud and bugs wash off with it applied, often a good splash of mud just rinses right off. Just finished washing mud off the bike. I apply it maybe once a month, more in the winter. I also use the same bottle on the windshields on both my boats, neither of my little boats have wiper blades, so I need the rain X.
