Total distance 62 miles/100 km
After Saturday nights thunderstorm and heavy rain I was expecting these back roads to be wet but they had dried up
The London to Portsmouth electric train thundering downline
The BMW has clocked up enough miles for its service this afternoon so that coupled with the fact I was expecting wet back roads made the MSX the choice for yesterdays trip

This apparently is a 1000 year old church that I will walk to on another day, a couple who were walking back from it said it was locked up

Riding along a road that was new to me I saw a lot of vehicles going into Stansted Park so thought I would too
All proper railways must have a turntable
One of the staff was happy to show me around the workshop
Even Thomas The Tank Engine lives here
That pheasant can probably read my and looks like its about to run off
A nice plump one
Now looking across at Racton ruins/monument that I saw last Wednesday, now to get there
The MSX has to do some offroad now, either that or I have to walk there
Easy going so far
It gets narrower with a muddy section but the MSX gets through okay
Finally I reach my goal
Now to look around it

I ride on and don't have far to go to the main road
Greenery
These two ducks don't appear to like the water
A friends house with a new porch on it
Lots of logging taking place around here now
There must be some sort of rally on today as lots of old cars pass through
The MSX is brilliant for these back road trips
Sunday evening meal of balsamic glazed chicken with homemade sage and onion stuffing, potatoes and cabbage
Plus gravy of course.
Meals like this are what I am craving when in Thailand but sadly I don't have a kitchen to use there
