The nearest restaurant to the Paksan Hotel. Situated on the San River. Good food and location but not particularly cheap, even by Lao prices.

Yes, a bit slow service (more or less normal in Laos) but the food is good there. Coming from the Vientiane side it is just to you right some 10 meters you reach the bridge.
