Newbie riding to Cambodia. Can I get some advise :)

Hello everyone.

A newbie here.

I am planning a ride to Siem Reap to see the Angkor with around 5 friends in October. We are all from Malaysia with Malaysia registered bike.

The initial plan was to ride through Poi Pet but it seems like that is a no no. So I changed the route so we now enter from O'smach.

Is that doable nowadays? Any advise as this is our first time.

The last time when I crossed there which was early last year the road south from O'smach to highway 6 was good and highway 6 to Siem Reap was a bit potholed.
