It has an ingenious seat lowering arrangement comprising of 2 metal bars that run across the underneath of the seat pan, which lock into place and can be rotated up and down to adjust the seat height.

Tum from the Triumph shop adjusting the metal bars to lower the seat height

With the underseat bars lowered - its an adventure bike that's not even too high for a lady

So for the price of 1 Triumph Tiger XC, you can have 2.6X Kawasaki Versys's for the same money (parts for both bikes are manufactured in Thailand).

As far as I'm aware the Triumph factory in Thailand manufactures the parts and they are then sent to the UK for assembly, so they can be sold as a "UK made" bike.

Now - talking to Phil Evans who just rode a Triumph Tiger XC from the UK to Thailand, he said his bike was one of the UK made bikes, so maybe they have 2 manufacturing facilities? 1 in the UK and 1 Thailand?
