Mike is staying in Nan for a week and wanted to explore some offroad riding with someone
We take the 1168 to Mae Charim and first stop was the Ban Phrom reservoir
I am standing on the overflow and the water is 1-2 metres below my feet
I enjoy a spicy chicken with basil for breakfast
We take a right onto the 3031 to explore some dirt tracks off of it that hopefully will take us back to Nan
At N18.41.377 E100.57.682 the road turns to dirt
Then at N18.40.978 E100.57.263 its back to an asphalt surface for the remainder of its length
We turn right to explore a dirt track
Quite a few water crossings today
Mike powers through
Just past here its the end of the track
Defeated we are on our way back
Now for a second track
A not too difficult bridge but a steep climb either side of it
This track goes to single through a corn field and we turn back
A third track is tried
A pleasant start but it just takes us to a rice field
Along the 4005 we try a fourth one thats got good scenery
But going through these woods we decide to call it a day
