Mongolia entry is one of the more simple countries to enter with a motorcycle.
Mongolia Immigration
For G7 countries, no immigration visa is needed in advance, 30 days is given at Mongolia Immigration on entry- NO FEE. NZ does need a visa in advance. Due to this not being well known, a visa can be purchased on arrival for around USD$ 60 valid for 14 days only.
Mongolia Customs
After completing the Mongolia Customs form, temporary import is given to the motorcycle for the period of your immigration visa. You are given a small slip of paper that is surrendered on exit from the border area where you have entered.
