Gathering in Chiangmai for a 0900am start on Feb 6th, 2011
Re-grouping stop, lots of bikes with different fuel ranges, so everyone everywhere
More re-grouping in Mae Sarieng
Tim's immaculately clean (not for long!) CBR 1300 (we're told he was spotted with the exhaust and wheels removed for polishing for this trip)
Quick lunch in Mae Sarieng
River in Mae Sarieng was very low
After clearing up everything to do with John's accident (see Mae Sot John's accident report), we all headed towards Mae Sot. A clusterfuck developed with none of us knowing where the hotel turn was, people were chasing each other on bikes to u-turn. Here Dave & Tom waiting for Ken at the turn, who had already gone to the hotel!

Lobby amazing wood carvings all over the hotel
Dinner at the "Krua Canadian" restaurant in Mae Sot, excellent food (western and Thai), would go back
again (sorry about the bad photo, only one I have)
We tried to hot-wire this for some fun but failed
Beautiful Chinese Temple in Mae Sot
A few Leo's and Heineken's were had by all & some entertainment was found
Quick non-gasohol fuel stop the next morning
Then a lovely ride to Tak, where Dave & I headed back to Chiang Mai by some mountain roads, the rest of the group headed off to Loei
