Usually at this spot on the Moei there are people crossing over and Burmese children playing in the river but no sign of anyone today
Evidence of the road widening as a big bit of the hill has been cut away
I wasnt expecting to see an elephant along here

There was a time when I enjoyed riding the old narrow road through the bends but the surface is so badly potholed now the sooner the widening/resurfacing is completed the better
