There is nearly nothing from this island in the web, but some tourist go there and it is a good trip from Phuket, Khao Lak or Khao Sok .
Koh Phra Thong is a small flat island near Takua Pa, about 200km north of phuket. The island is about 15km long and max. 9km with. There is only one small bad concrete street on this island witch goes 7km from the village to the west coast bungalow resorts and a 3,4km from the resorts to the north coast. 1,2 call (AIS) mobile conection work on the island.

Website of the island with many resorts: http://www.kohphrathong.com/
The places with the bungalow resorts is on the west coast at the covered bay as you can see in the map. Some different resorts are here: Tent, leave-bungalow, wooden bungalow (moken eco resort), luxury wooden
bungalow. They start about 400 baht per night to 15 000 baht (golden buddha, nice teakwood villas). Most of them have electric in the nighttime for charging and light.

Mr Chuoi s resort, he has about 40 bungalows. The small one like this is ~400 baht, all with shower and toilett. The good thing of this construction: Everytime a good air circulation and not hot like a stone bungalow. Nighttime electric with photovoltaik (acu) ang generator. http://www.mrchuoibarandhut.com/

Oasis Resort
One time we ate some different things in Oasis Resort but the food was not the best.

Moken Resort, very nice but expensive

Near Oasis

Beachbar of Golden Buddha Resort, very beautiful wooden bungalows but VERY expensive. The cape near the beachbar is worth a visit. https://www.goldenbuddharesort.com/

A 4x4 safari with mr Chuoi

Sometimes with need 4x4 looked because the sand is very soft. For motorbikes very difficult.

I never saw this tree in thailand, the skin is like a paper.

A big grasshoper, looking like a leaf. About 8cm long, thumbsize.

Same everywhere in thailand: Some places with much rubish. Most from fishermans, like bulbs, ropes, nets, foam, plastic and bottles.

hope you enjoy
