Three of us were coming back into Samoeng yesterday around lunchtime after an epic four-day backcountry adventure when I got a bit of a shock. Long story short, #2 of 5 on a red/white CRF with a yellow rental sticker came at me on the upright bit of a blind left/right, not just in my lane, but fully over the road in my very conservative line. Chopped the throttle on the mighty KLX150 and had time for a little "wtf?" moment as he squirreled a bit before heading back across the road.
They were five various red/white/black dirtbikes and the other riders seemed to be chugging along comfortably, so not sure what happened with #2. The last guy had a black intercom mic in his face. No intention to name & shame if you know this group, but I hope they bitched out their boy appropriately before he becomes a Hilux hood ornament.
