Looking for a decent motorcycle jacket with good protection!
Anywhere stocking Alpine Star/RS Taichi/Dainese etc gear around Chiang Mai area?

(not into the Yellow Corn stuff)

John - The Kawasaki shop on the south side of the moat square in Chiang Mai carries genuine Alpinestar mesh jackets with amour.

I got a nice Dainese armoured(removable) mesh jacket in Tachilek
It was that or Alpinestars, the fit was better on the dainese, I can wear it over my body armour or on it's own

Yup seen some nice gear over the Burmese border, but need one in a few days.

John ---ive got 2 spare jackets with armor you can borrow until you buy one if you want, stop by and pick one up if you need it, should fit.

Thanks for the kind offer Phil. I managed to pick up an Alpine Star jacket from the Kawa dealer as recommended which fits over my off-road armor. Its tight but reasonably comfortable, more importantly ill probably get to keep some of the remaining skin on my back after a spill :
