Hello from Nan province

Hello to everyone! and excuse me for my bad English...
I'm Marco, a 47 years young from Italy. I live in Thailand for 15 years and love to ride in Nan province and in all the north.
I live in Thung Chang, 90 km. north of Nan town, and ride a Honda Steed 400 cc.
Hope to meet some ride asia members at the BBQ at Tony's place in Nan tomorrow (11th January).
If anyone needs information about my area, I'm happy to help.

Qualche pianta di rosmarino e di salvia ce l'abbiamo.... faccio anche giardinaggio, abbiamo un agri-turismo. Purtroppo Surin è un po lontana da Thung Chang, ma se dovesse capitare di passare da quelle parti ti faccio... due fischi Buona giornata, Marco

Hi Marco,

Somehow missed your initial post but happy to hear that RideAsia has a memeber in the Thung Chang area. That area is of special interest to me as it is an area where quite some time ago the communists were very active. Went to the area in May 2014 and tried to reach the Pha Daeng Cave but had no luck. Grazie per l'indizio Sergio...appena posso passo da Marco a prenderne una piantina o due di ciascuna, adesso che ho ricominciato a far salsicce, salumi e carni secche aver le mie erbette mi risparmierebbe un casino di soldi che qui comprarle costa un braccio.

Marco mi manderesti le tue coordinate in un PM che quando posso vengo a comprare qualche piantina...se vengo in moto il viaggio lo soppravvivono? Salutoni, Alex.

Grazie per l'indizio Sergio...appena posso passo da Marco a prenderne una piantina o due di ciascuna, adesso che ho ricominciato a far salsicce, salumi e carni secche aver le mie erbette mi risparmierebbe un casino di soldi che qui comprarle costa un braccio.

Hi Lone Rider! Very nice report. I go up to Mani Phruek very often as I like H'Mong people (I can see the mountain from my house...). For the caves and the battlefield, you need a guide from the local forest department. I know very well a local former head of a H'Mong village (Ban Nam Sod). He knows a lot about local history. The battlefield is from the guerriglia time during and after the Vietnam war. Different story the "battle" in the 90' between H'Mong and "low land" people. Next time you will come here, contact me. Rosmarino mi sa' che si pianta un rametto e prende,non lo devi comprare.Salvia non mi ricordo

Si come da noi penso...metti il rametto in una patata e interri...puntano. Il problema sembra trovare il rametto non secco...non ce ne sono qui. Comunque Marco ci sta lavorando dietro.
