Hello from Mae Sot Area

Hi folks, just a few lines to introduce myself. I'm 55yrs old and originally from Scotland, however I've been living in Thailand for 11 years and have now set up home 18 klms north of Mae Sot one kilometre from the 105, I got myself back into biking after an eleven year drought. Started off hiring bikes out of Chiang Mai last year and after a couple trips have decided to buy a Versys 650, which i have managed to stick 4000 klms on since the end of December. I've sucked up lots of really useful info from the forum already and look forward to further interaction with you all.

Welcome Stuart, Mae Sot is one of my favourite places for exploring but you need a DP bike to see the best of it.

Hope to meet you there on my next trip there probably at the end of the year

Hi Colin, I can see you've spent a lot of time down here, we probably passed some where on the 105 on Sunday as I was heading home. Drop me a message next time your going to be in Mae Sot and we can hook up.
