From some riders on HU:

Air Canada confirms they are repeating the deal from last summer to fly your bike anywhere in the world, as long as the routes use wide-body jets. You can ride your bike onto a pallet, fill out the paper work, and then go to departures and even get on the plane with your bike and ride away at the other end. Last year it cost me $700 Cdn to Gatwick, and $1000 back to Toronto. The only stipulation is that your bike must fly out of one of Air Canada's Canadian airports, you get a hazardous goods declaration filled out, the battery is disconnected and only 1 liter of gas is in the bike. I flew my GS-LC fully loaded up with all my camping gear, tank bag, and spare tires strapped on. Super easy and efficient service. Highly recommended. Call Antonio at A/C Cargo in Toronto for specific prices to specific destinations: antonio.sammartino@aircanada.ca
