I tend to only ever eat bacon at these Phil and I have always been totally satisfied with it

I ask for extra fries and onion as I dont want the vegetables and this filling nice meal was 99 Baht

Was in Fang the past couple nights with some locals and for Thai food ("daam sang", the made-to-order dishes from food carts), the best place to be is in front of the government office complex on the main road between the two traffic lights. Good selection of carts and very busy.

Chicken curry and rice 30 Baht, there was a lot of meat in the bowl but I was unimpressed with the texture or flavour.

No name for this restaurant, the owner is from Nakhon Si Thammarat and suggested calling it Southern Food Restaurant as that is what it specialises in

Pre cooked meals but the owner pointed out they are willing to cook anything within reason

Now I like my food spicy but that had my mouth on fire for a while after eating it and I never added any chilli to it myself.
35 Baht for the lot

Sweet pork, not spicy, but nice and 35 Baht

A tasty filling gai phad kapow for 40 Baht



This was sweet and delicious pork with onions and garlic, this plus two portions of rice for 80 Baht and I was stuffed as there was a lot of pork there

Just got a recomendation for a brand new restaurant in Fang. It is named "Galileo".

Located on the right side of 1089 as you head out of town, before you get to the bypass around Fang.

Galileo - an actual review

Finally was in Fang recently, and was able to try my previous recommendation.

Location was as I was told, just past a big appliance outlet - both on the right when heading north from downtown Fang.

The place was very upscale for Fang. It would not look out of place in a trendy area like Nimmanheman.

Menu had both the traditional and the unusual - all good. Prices were reasonable - dinner for 4 was under 1000.
