Goran, who spearheaded the first motorcycle group to enter Myanmar last year, now has a group of friends that will be transiting Myanmar westwards and crossing into India. As far as we're aware, this might be the first time this motorcycle travel intinerary has been approved by the Myanmar Government.

Goran:

This morning these guys left from Mae Sot (Thai/Burma border) on 27 days, 9000Km bike trip to Myanmar, India, Bhutan, and Nepal. It appears it is possible to ride your own bike thru India after all. Definitely interested in such trip next summer time. Pic courtesy - Tull Suvanarat

I think I seen three of these guys on BMW's heading over the Thai/Laos border yesterday at Vientiane?!?

I follow (what I can as its usually Thai language text) of the transasia feed.. I knew they were doing this trip, but thought it was trucks only.. Great to see things slowly open up.
