Have Honda got any plans on bringing out an Africa Twin purely for the road? Cross-spoke 17 inch wheels would be lovely.

Pricy !! Bought my CRF, immediately put on 17's. Total cost - hubs, spoke wheels, tires 14K Baht in CNX

Why would Honda do that? IMO it defeats the whole reason why Honda made the CRF1000 in the first place "Its an ADV bike"
I am sure Honda in their line up has a road bike with 17" wheels which will meet your requirement Nick.
I can see Honda making a smaller C.C. AT at some point.
