Out near Chiang Dao and its looking like the weather is back to normal now, I certainly hope so as I want to get back riding those dirt tracks
Riding through Chiang Dao I stop at Mon&Kurts restaurant at N19.37292 E098.96603
Kurt was away in Nepal but I chatted with his wife Mon, I often ate at their old restaurant and you got good sized portions of great tasting food.
I didnt eat there today so cant comment but I expect it will be of the same quality and quantity.
Anyone riding through who feels hungry, I suggest you stop here
The tracks look okay now, not too slippery
This was rather a gruesome poster along the road
Near to Chai Prakarn I look for a way to join up with a track I found last week that had a different exit to the one I took
A nice dry track that links up with where I had been before
Further towards Fang I spot the ice cream man
After checking in and dumping my gear off in the room I ride to the Maw Mao Reservoir to see how full it is
A disappointment considering the rain last week but then again I dont ever remember seeing this one full
50 Baht for the moo hunglay and rice from the market
