Classic car rally takes the road to Mandalay

This came up through Phuket, to Chiang Mai, round to Mae Sot.. Into Myanmar and up to Mandalay, Bagan, and then out via Rangoon.

Yes, saw some of the ERA support cars including ERA medics while on my way to Pai. Still wondering if they did the full Elephant trail including the part from Wat Chan to Mae Hong Son as there are some tricky downhill sections in it in particular the few kilometers just before dropping into Ban Nong Khao Klang

Really dont see some of these vehicles making that trail.. Old non 4x4 roadcars.. 190? vinatge beasts ??

Here and on their site they keep making a big deal that they are the first to get vehicles in.. Simply not true with both multiple bike tours and even 4x4 caravans getting in previously..
