Chris Birch, one of the rock star extreme enduro factory racers takes a new KTM 1190 Adventure offroad and shows what they are capable of. Really spectacular.

& here he is on a KTM 350 EXC too, consistent wheelies between obstacles are epic.

Notice he's not using an MT90 rear Phil :lost

how is that thing weight wise? Any of you used one already and what is your experience with it?

I was considering it along the HP2 Enduro option for my Australia trip I'm planning (well, planned for a while but had to postpone)...I want to ride the Gunbarrel Highway and the Canning Stock Route during the trip and it seems that portions of both have been abandoned for a while so weight might become a bigger issue then handling alone...

I would appreciate any input about the new KTM adventure...I mean real user input...thnx.

It's odd really, it's only throttle / clutch control and balance. I mean how hard can it really be, most of us can use our hands reasonably well, so why is this so damn hard to learn?

I wouldnt try stuff he's doing on the 350 on a trails bike.

The Hut - Chris Birch extreme KTM1190 Adventure

Phil and Bryce, both Red Bull Romaniacs veterans, rocked up on their KTM300 EXCs to what they thought would be a challenging days riding with extreme enduro champion Chris Birch. The goal would be to get to, The Hut, through challenging trails of knee deep mud, slippery steep rock climbs and seat height deep water. What Chris didn't tell them is that he would be taking his KTM 1190 Adventure R and he wasn't sure he would make it. No music in this vid, just engine noise, sweat and the banter between the three riders as they take on what seems the impossible.

All i can say is WOW !!!!
