I stopped at the popular coffee shop/restaurant at Charin on #118 during a ride on Monday and enjoyed
the usual coffee, snack and views.
I enjoyed a chat with the wonderful matriarch who is a young 94 years of age.
And then today when I called in the place was in grief because the matriarch's son Saktah had
died of a massive heart attack. He was only 60 years of age.
Many bikers would remember this friendly, hard-working gentleman.
Charin will reopen Monday.
