MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURER, the original book about Clancy's adventure around the world, is out there on AMAZON, as both a print copy and ebook. It took us 16 years to verify that Clancy was "the first," and thus the fastest and youngest. After the book came out I was gifted the original boots Clancy wore as well as a manuscript he had hoped to have published. I was able to find a way to get his manuscript published, titled GASOLINE TRAMP. Both are a bit different, but worth the read if you're a fan of "firsts," and global travel by motorcycle. The Smithsonian Museum transportation curator and I are meeting today, both having been on a search for Clancy's original 1912 Henderson for some years, collaborating when we sniff out a lead. So far no luck - one that was described as Clancy's in a museum turned out to be a restored 1912.
