Can Chiang Khong Bridge Immigration issue - re-entry permits?

Can the Immigration office at Chiang Khong bridge issue Thai Visa re-entry permits, or can they only be obtained at the Immigration office in Chiang Khong town? Being told the Chiang Khong Immigration office in town has moved recently too.

I dont think any land borders can do re-entry permits..

Immigration offices and airports with international check in (including airside transfers).

Wouldnt bet my back teeth but thats how I remember it.

Chiang Kong Immigration office is on the south side of town - Co-ordinates are 20.248012, 100.410307

Just had someone in Chiang Khong check and bridge immigration cannot issue re-entry permits
