Cambodia to Host International Bike Race at Coastal Province

The first step of the World Cycling event along the coastal area of Cambodia started from Dara Sakor Resort to the provincial capital of Koh Kong

160 cyclists from 13 countries, divided into 16 teams, competing in three stages, and going through four provinces: Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot and Kep. The contestants were from France, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia.

Stage 1: January 4 - the race departs from Dara Sakor Resort and ends in the capital of Koh Kong province.
Stage 2: January 5 - departs from Ta Say Phu Tung and ends at Sokha Bokor Mountain Resort (top of mountain) for a total distance of 172.8 km.
Stage 3: January 6 - the race departs from the Bokor Mountain Gate and ends in front of Kep Provincial Hall, 147.7 km.
