Thanks for the link Bill. It did say that the road was open on a permanent basis.

It is a shame that they reworked the road so a Harley could make it up. Was up there in 2004, took us longer to get up there than it did coming down in the DARK, 2 up on an xr 250. Bats sure like head lights :eek1

Hi Jim
2 up is a good effort on the Old road.

Last time I went up was Khmer New Year 2010.
At the time there was a nice offroad track that ran for 17 km along the Plateau.
Eventually I guess Sokha resorts will be developing a lot of that area.
