An Indifferent Weather 2016 UK Summer

The view from my lunch stop at Frome in Somerset on a warm day



Heading east from Glastonbury and King Alfred's tower can be seen in the distance







That took a bit of negotiating to get through



Now at the two large lakes just a few miles south west of Bristol





I was expecting them to both be overflowing going by the amount of rain over the past month but it was not to be







It was a long ride in cool cloudy dismal weather which seemed to perfectly sum up a good part of our summer





Looking towards Cheddar Gorge and its even more dismal but thankfully stayed dry



A few weeks later and a bit of blue sky can be seen





North west of Marlborough and crop circles are visible



I stop here for my lunch break and its actually hot today which makes a very pleasant change



A picturesque bed and breakfast along some back roads near to Salisbury





A pleasant road I discovered near to Winchester









These two cars might be reclaimed by nature when I ride this way next year

Yes Tim, I was riding up in Oxfordshire today and it was a mild fairly sunny day, I wasn't cold at all and did a 190 mile ride.

Hopefully get out again this weekend for the last time this year, then on Saturday 29th its the train to Eastbourne to stay with family for two nights before flying to Chiang Mai
