[h=2]Thailand on Top of World Lists again – Number Two for Traffic Accident Fatalities[/h][h=3]Feb 21, 2014[/h]SocietyCityNews – A new report, compiled by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, tells us that Thailand is second in the world , behind Namibia, for the rate of traffic accident fatalities.

The world average is 18 deaths per 100,000 people, per year, and puts Thailand at 44 deaths per 100,000. There is quite a drop to third place, Iran (38). The full report is here.

Interesting, but you need to factor in the availability of motorised transport. Interesting that Vietnam does not appear though as it is similarly 'motorised'.
 
Maybe stats are not/can not be recorded in Vietnam.
And where's 'deadly' India?
